Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
At Cape Fear Sites, our whole model is built to remove your risk: we build a free demo of your website first, and you only pay once you're happy with it. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work.
1. Free Demos
Demos are provided at no charge, so there is nothing to refund. You are under no obligation to purchase after seeing a demo.
2. Website Build Fees
- Because you review and approve your site before it goes live, build fees are generally non-refundable once the website has been launched to your live domain and delivered to you.
- If you paid a build fee and we have not yet launched or delivered the final site, you may request a refund. We will refund amounts paid, less a fair charge for design work already completed, at our reasonable discretion.
- If we are unable to deliver a site that meets the agreed scope, we will work with you to make it right or provide an appropriate refund.
3. Care Plan Subscriptions
- The optional Care Plan is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Email us and we'll cancel before your next billing date.
- Cancellation stops future charges. The current month is not pro-rated or refunded, and your plan benefits continue through the end of the period you've paid for.
4. Third-Party Costs
Pass-through costs we paid on your behalf (such as domain registration, premium fonts, or stock photography) are generally non-refundable once purchased, as these are billed by third parties.
5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
Email hello@capefearsites.com with your name, business, and what you'd like to do. We aim to respond within one business day and to handle every request fairly and honestly.
6. Payment Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor (such as Stripe). Depending on your bank, it may take several business days for the refund to appear.
